行く価値がある理由
Neue Galerie New York は、1048 Fifth Avenue の建物を修復するため夏の間休館していました。11月12日に全展示室がこの展覧会とともに再開します。1 開館25年目にあたり、Museum Mile に建つ館全体をコレクションの名品で埋めます。その中には、カンヴァスに油彩と金・銀で描かれた Gustav Klimt の Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I（1907年）も含まれます。2 コレクションは1900年前後のウィーンを扱い、Klimt、Egon Schiele、Oskar Kokoschka、Richard Gerstl、Alfred Kubin から、Josef Hoffmann、Koloman Moser、Dagobert Peche の Wiener Werkstätte、建築家の Adolf Loos と Otto Wagner まで揃います。あわせて Max Beckmann、Ernst Ludwig Kirchner、Gabriele Münter、バウハウス、Paul Klee の作品も収蔵しています。2 1階の Café Sabarsky も営業を再開しており、水曜から日曜は21:00まで営業します。3
