Musée du Louvreが貸し出す15世紀と16世紀の絵画、彫刻、版画、素描、工芸品50点余りを、日本初公開となるLeonardo da Vinciの「La Belle Ferronnière」を筆頭に展示します。

行く価値がある理由

展覧会の中心は、Leonardo da Vinciの「Portrait of a Woman」（通称「La Belle Ferronnière」）です。1490年から1497年頃にクルミ材の板に油彩で描かれ、日本で展示されるのはこれが初めてです。¹ その周りに、Louvreが貸し出した50点を超える作品が、Leonardo自身の関心から取った4つの章、すなわち旅、技術の革新、古代の研究、肖像画の興隆に沿って並びます。¹ 肖像の章にはTitianの「Portrait of Francis I of France」が掛かり、ほかの展示室にはDürerの「Rhinoceros」、Marcantonio RaimondiがRaphaelの「Judgment of Paris」を彫った版画、リモージュの七宝、Germain Pilonの工房による騎馬のCharles IXのブロンズ像があります。¹ 金曜日と土曜日は20:00まで開室しています。¹
