比赛在夜间进行，赛道为长4.927 km的街道赛道，共19个弯角，62圈，赛车在6号弯与7号弯之间的速度可达约325 km/h。1今年是冲刺赛周末：周六傍晚在排位赛之前进行冲刺赛，正赛于周日20:00开始。2周六排位赛结束后，The Killers在Padang Stage演出；周日，Lana Del Rey在同一舞台举行她在新加坡的首场演唱会。3主办方自己的款待服务自2008年首届比赛起一直运营，只以三天套票出售。45
