Why it is worth going

The race is run at night on a 4.927 km street circuit of 19 turns, 62 laps, with cars reaching about 325 km/h between Turns 6 and 7.1 This year it is a Sprint weekend: a sprint race on Saturday evening before qualifying, and the Grand Prix itself at 8pm on Sunday.2 The Killers play the Padang Stage after qualifying on Saturday, and Lana Del Rey gives her first concert in Singapore there on Sunday.3 The promoter's own hospitality has run since the first race in 2008, sold only as three-day packages.45
