Why it is worth going

The 2026 edition runs from 27 to 29 November at The Sevens Stadium.¹ Dubai has hosted the opening round of the HSBC SVNS series every season since the circuit began in 1999.² Over the weekend the top eight men's and eight women's national teams play two days of sevens — among them New Zealand, Fiji, South Africa, Australia, Argentina, France, Spain, the USA, Canada and Japan — with the organiser putting the crowd above 80,000.² New Zealand won both titles here last season, a fifteenth Dubai win for the men and a sixth for the women.²
