Why it is on the list
The Third Line was founded in Dubai in 2005 and shows, publishes and represents artists from the region and its diaspora.1 Its list includes Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, Rana Begum, Hassan Hajjaj, Farhad Moshiri, Hayv Kahraman, Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, Slavs and Tatars and Youssef Nabil.1 Until 10 November 2026 it shows Rana Begum: Taking Form, her fifth solo exhibition with the gallery: tapestries close to five metres tall hung from the ceiling of Gallery 1, with works on linen, wood and paper.2
It is a gallery that sells. For a different list of artists, Green Art Gallery is also on Alserkal Avenue; to look without buying, the Farjam Collection in DIFC; for works at auction, a specialist appointment at Sotheby's Dubai.
How to get it
The gallery is open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm.3 Write to art@thethirdline.com or call +971 4 341 1367 before the visit to see the exhibition with the gallery, or works by its artists that are not on the walls.3 From 8 to 24 October 2026 it also shows Jordan Nassar: No History of Shapes.4
Discretion
The gallery is Warehouse 78 on Street 8 of Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz 1, reached from exit 43 off Sheikh Zayed Road; it is open to anyone during opening hours and closed on Sunday.3
