Why it is worth going
Three of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's regular guest soloists return as a trio for one night at Walt Disney Concert Hall.1 The first half pairs two early works, Shostakovich's Piano Trio No. 1 in C minor and Debussy's Piano Trio in G major; after the interval comes Dvořák's Piano Trio No. 3 in F minor, about 42 minutes long.1 The evening runs two to two and a half hours with a 20-minute interval.1
