Why it is on the list

Linate Prime is the business and general aviation side of Linate, the airport less than 7 km from the centre of Milan; the main runway is 2,440 m, the private apron 70,000 sqm, and ten hangars cover 24,000 sqm.¹ The ground floor of the terminal is one open space of 750 sqm facing the apron, so arriving and departing passengers pass straight between the aircraft and the kerb; the 510 sqm floor above is a business centre for meetings.² A new wing opened in 2026 with nine glass-walled lounges, 2,000 sqm in all, each let to a business aviation operator and fitted out to its own standard, and a main hall with a skylight and a concierge desk.³ Customs and immigration assistance, meet and greet, limousines, catering and a concierge are on site.¹

It is the terminal for a private jet or helicopter, not for a scheduled flight. For a journey better made by rail, take the Executive coach on the Frecciarossa instead. SEA Prime runs a second terminal at Malpensa, Milano Malpensa Prime, in Somma Lombardo.⁴

How to get it

The operator or the handling agent books the arrival: the terminal is home to several FBOs, and the new lounges are each held by an operator.⁵³ Ask them for meet and greet, customs and immigration assistance and a car to the aircraft; some of these services are run by third parties at the terminal.¹ Hangar space by the day or longer is arranged with SEA Prime at commercial@seaprime.it.¹ A car left at the terminal's car park, 360 spaces, costs €6.00 an hour for the first four hours and €60.00 for the rest of the first day, €60.00 a day to the fifth day and €30.00 a day after that.¹

Discretion

The terminal has its own apron of 70,000 sqm and its own car park of 360 spaces.¹ Each of the nine lounges in the new wing is assigned to a single operator, and the upper floor is a business centre laid out for privacy.³²
