Why it is on the list

The service is run by the airport, not an agency working through it. A multilingual hostess meets the passenger at the airport, staff take the bags, check-in, security and passport control are done with an escort and through FastTrack, and the last stretch to the aircraft is by private vehicle.¹ The wait is spent in one of the airport's own lounges: Montale, in Terminal 1 for non-Schengen flights, looks across the airfield to Monte Rosa and has a silence room; Gae Aulenti, the premium lounge for non-Schengen flights, has shower rooms; Monteverdi has showers and shows work by contemporary artists.²³

It is for a commercial flight. For a private aircraft use Milano Malpensa Prime, and for a flight into the city itself Milano Linate Prime.

How to get it

Write to vipservice@seamilano.eu or call +39 02 74862382 with the flight number, the date and whether it is an arrival or a departure.¹ The service runs every day from 6:00 to 21:30, so a flight outside those hours falls outside it.¹ Ask for the escort to the aircraft by private vehicle and name the lounge you want: Montale and Gae Aulenti are in Terminal 1, boarding area B, for non-Schengen flights; the Schengen lounge is in boarding area A, gates A1 to A10; Terminal 2 has one lounge, at gates D20 to D22.³ Lounge entry can also be bought on its own online, paid by card, bank transfer or Apple Pay; the Gae Aulenti lounge admits only passengers holding a boarding pass, and children under two enter free.³

Discretion

The passenger is escorted throughout and reaches the aircraft in a private vehicle.¹ The lounges have no time limit on a stay, and Montale has a silence room.³²
