Chelsea Piers Marina keeps 25 of its 65 slips for megayachts, up to 350 feet, with 30, 50 and 100 amp three-phase power and guest services on duty 24 hours.¹ North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place, the other Manhattan berth for yachts of that size, is closed for redevelopment, so this is where a large yacht comes alongside in Manhattan itself.² The piers run along the Hudson between 17th and 23rd Streets, a walk from the High Line and the Meatpacking District.³¹

It is the wrong choice for anyone coming by air: for a private jet, land at Teterboro instead.

Reserve through the marina's own page or call the marina office on +1 212 336 6600; the marina manager is George Bennet.¹ Give the yacht's length and the power it needs: berths are wired for 30, 50 and 100 amp three-phase.¹ Water, floating docks, wireless internet, showers and ice are on the dock.¹

Discretion

The marina lists security among its services and guest services is staffed around the clock.¹ The piers are shared with a public sports complex, a driving range and event venues, so the approach from the West Side is never quiet.³
