Why it is on the list

Imàgo holds one Michelin star in the 2025 and the 2026 Michelin Guide for Italy.¹ For its twentieth year the restaurant was rebuilt with the dining room and the kitchen in one space; Andrea Antonini, who trained at Celler de Can Roca, Quique Dacosta and with Enrico Crippa, runs the kitchen, and the cellar holds about 1,500 labels.² The kitchen table is four seats set in a line directly in front of that kitchen.³

It is the wrong choice for more than four, or for a room of your own: the restaurant has no separate dining rooms.⁴ For a closed room, take the Parallels room at Il Pagliaccio.

How to get it

Write to imago@hotelhassler.it or call +39 06 699 34 726 and ask for the kitchen table; parties of more than four are asked to book by email.⁵⁴ Dinner is Tuesday to Saturday, with arrivals from 19:00 to 20:30; the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, and from 2027-01-03 to 2027-01-20.⁵

There are two tasting menus at €230 a person, drinks not included, and the whole table takes the same one; the service charge is added separately.⁴ A card guarantees the booking. Changes and cancellations are free up to 48 hours before and count only when sent to imago@hotelhassler.it; after that, or for a no-show or fewer guests, €230 a person is charged.⁴ Severe allergies may not be accommodated.⁴

Discretion

The restaurant is on the sixth floor of the Hotel Hassler.² It is one room with no separate dining rooms, and the kitchen table sits in full view of the kitchen.⁴³ Elegant dress is expected: men wear long trousers and closed shoes. Children are welcome from eight years old; pets are not.⁴
