Why it is on the list

AETOS runs the Aetos Auxiliary Police Force, one of four auxiliary police forces the Commissioner of Police has authorised in Singapore, in place since 1 April 2004.¹ The company was formed that year from the auxiliary police of PSA, ST Kinetics and Changi International Airport Services, the oldest of them dating from 1947.² Its executive protection team is led by former principal trainers of the Singapore Police Force's Security Command and escorts and protects high-net-worth individuals and visiting dignitaries.³ The same company secures the ASEAN Summit, the Shangri-La Dialogue and the Formula 1 night race, and did so for the 2018 DPRK-USA Summit.³ The Security Association Singapore named it among the best close protection agencies at its Singapore Security Industry Awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025.⁴⁵

Discretion

Close protection is sold as a bespoke service, planned around the client rather than from a standard package.³ The company's security consultants are recognised by the Ministry of Home Affairs as Competent Persons (Security) for threat, vulnerability and risk assessment.⁷
