Why it is worth going

Augustin Hadelich returns to Singapore for Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, with the French conductor Pierre Bleuse at the head of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.1 The second half pairs the suite from Bartók's The Miraculous Mandarin with Ravel's second Daphnis et Chloé suite, and the evening opens with Dream(e)scapes, a new SSO commission from the Singaporean composer Zechariah Goh.1 Hadelich also gives a solo recital on 27 September.1 The Concert Hall is known for its acoustics.2
