Why it is worth going

The Finnish conductor Pietari Inkinen leads the Singapore Symphony in one evening split between Sibelius and Wagner.1 The first half has Finlandia with the Singapore Symphony Chorus and Youth Choir, Lemminkäinen's Return, and six orchestral songs sung by the soprano Johanna Rusanen.1 The second half is Inkinen's own arrangement of scenes from Götterdämmerung: Siegfried's Rhine Journey, the Funeral March and Brünnhilde's Immolation Scene, with surtitles.1 The Concert Hall is known for its acoustics.2
