本次展览由Musée d'Orsay、The National Gallery与Museum of Fine Arts, Boston联合策划，汇集雷诺阿创作巅峰期，即1860年代至1880年代的40幅画作。1《Bal du moulin de la Galette》（1876年）借自Musée d'Orsay，此前从未在英国展出。1与它同场展出的有借自Art Institute of Chicago的《Lunch at Restaurant Fournaise》、借自Barnes Foundation的《Young Mother》、借自波士顿的《Dance at Bougival》，以及借自Nationalmuseum, Stockholm的《Mother Anthony's Tavern》。1
