Why it is on the list

Green Art opened in a Jumeirah villa in 1995, showing Arab modernists such as Fateh Moudarres, Dia Azzawi and Paul Guiragossian, and relaunched in 2010 as a contemporary space.1 It represents Hale Tenger, Hera Büyüktaşcıyan, Kamrooz Aram, Nazgol Ansarinia and Seher Shah, among others. Its artists have shown at the Venice Biennale, Manifesta and Palais de Tokyo, and are in the collections of MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum, the British Museum, Centre Pompidou, M+ and Tate Modern.1 The gallery has taken booths at Art Basel, Frieze London, FIAC and Artissima, and is at Art Basel Paris from 23 to 25 October 2026.2

It is a gallery that sells. To look without buying, the Farjam Collection in DIFC is the better visit; for works at auction or by private sale, take a specialist appointment at Sotheby's Dubai.

How to get it

The gallery is open Monday to Saturday, 11:00 to 19:00, and closed on Sunday.1 To see the current exhibition with the gallery, or to see works by its artists that are not on the walls, write to info@gagallery.com or call +971 4 346 9305.1 Until 24 October 2026 it shows Private World, small works by Lulua Alyahya, Rami Farook, Sohrab Hura and Khaled Jarada.34

Discretion

The gallery is Unit 28 on Street 8 of Alserkal Avenue, in Al Quoz 1, open to anyone during opening hours; Sunday it is closed.1
