The Presidential Suite at Hotel Bel-Air

Why it is on the list

The Presidential Suite is the largest of Hotel Bel-Air's signature suites: 210 m² (2,265 sq ft), set apart around a private courtyard with its own infinity pool, and a back patio with a jacuzzi.¹ The living room has a vaulted ceiling, a working fireplace and a grand piano; there is a separate study, a chef's kitchen, a dressing room and two marble bathrooms, and the rooms were designed by Alexandra Champalimaud.¹ Round-trip airport transfers by sedan are part of the stay.¹ The hotel sits on 12 acres of gardens in Bel-Air, with 58 rooms and 45 suites.²

It has one king bedroom.¹ For a family, ask instead for the Two-Bedroom Chalon Suite in the same hotel, one of its largest, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and outdoor space.¹

Discretion

The suite stands apart in its own courtyard, and staff come and go through a separate entrance.¹ Most of the hotel's rooms open onto the gardens rather than corridors.¹ Arrival from the airport is by the hotel's sedan, which is part of the stay.¹
