LAX has four runways, the longest 12,091 feet, enough for a long-range jet arriving from abroad.¹ Atlantic's terminal on the field is open 24 hours and clears U.S. Customs on the ramp at any hour. It handles international and large charter arrivals, and has a lounge, a conference room with video calling and a concierge who books hotels and restaurants.¹

How to get it

LAX runs a prior-permission programme for private aircraft: the crew calls the terminal on +1 310 258 9884 for the slot, and the same desk takes the handling request.¹ Trips can also be booked through Atlantic Gateway, which sends texts as the trip is acknowledged, catering arrives and the aircraft is staged for departure.² On NFL game days in Los Angeles the ramp is crowded; the terminal publishes those dates and asks for trips to be planned early.¹

Discretion

U.S. Customs clears passengers at the aircraft on the ramp rather than in a terminal hall, and the ramp is under watch around the clock.¹
