Why it is on the list
Bartolini opened here in 2016 and was given two Michelin stars that year; the third came in the 2020 guide, the first three-star kitchen in Milan since Gualtiero Marchesi.1 It holds three stars in the 2025 and 2026 selections.2 This is the house kitchen for all of Bartolini's restaurants, where the "contemporary classic" style is worked out; Davide Boglioli runs it day to day, Monica Biella runs the room and Jessica Swan the wine.3 The dining room sits on the museum's third floor, in warm natural tones with soft leather chairs and sofas.3
It is the wrong choice on a Sunday or Monday, when it is closed.3 For a two-star table in the city centre, Seta, in Municipio 1, holds two stars in the 2026 selection.2
How to get it
Call +39 02 84 293 701, Tuesday to Saturday between 17:00 and 18:00, write to ristorante@enricobartolini.net, or use the reservation button on the restaurant's page.3 A booking is required.4 Lunch is served from 12:30 to 14:00 and dinner from 19:30 to 22:00, Tuesday to Saturday.3
Discretion
The restaurant is on the third floor of the museum building at Via Tortona 56.3 MUDEC has covered parking open around the clock, at EUR 4.50 an hour.4
