The Presidential Suite at Armani Hotel Milano

Why it is on the list

This is Giorgio Armani's hotel in his own city, in the Manzoni 31 building at the edge of the Quadrilatero della Moda, a few minutes from Via Montenapoleone and La Scala.¹ The Presidential Suite is the one at the top of it: 190 sqm on the sixth floor, with a terrace over the modern skyline that takes a lunch or an aperitif.² Inside are a living room with a long bar counter modelled on the bar on Armani's yacht, a dining room with its own kitchen, a study with a chaise longue, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, a marble bathroom with a separate tub and shower, and a guest bathroom.²

Discretion

The suite has its own dining room, kitchen and terrace, so meals need not be taken in the restaurant.² Fittings for Armani made-to-measure clothes can be held in the suite rather than at the boutique.⁶
