Why it is on the list

Andrea Aprea holds two Michelin stars in the 2025 and 2026 selections; Seta is the only other restaurant in Milan with two.¹ The restaurant fills the top floor of the Fondazione Luigi Rovati: 400 m2, of which 190 m2 is a kitchen in full view of the room, and 36 seats, three of the tables set apart in a semi-private area beside the private dining space.² A glass wall looks over the park at Porta Venezia and the skyline, and the cellar holds 650 labels.³

It is the wrong choice on a Sunday or Monday and from 9 to 31 August, when the restaurant is closed; the Caffè-Bistrot in the same building opens on Sundays from 9.30 to 20.00.⁴ For the city's only three-star kitchen, Enrico Bartolini al Mudec.¹

Call the restaurant on +39 02 38273030 or write to info@andreaaprea.com and ask for the private dining space, or one of the three semi-private tables.⁴² The restaurant serves dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 19.00, with the last booking at 21.45, and lunch on Saturday from 12.30.⁴ For a private event the team builds the evening to the request.⁴

Discretion

The restaurant is on the top floor of the Fondazione Luigi Rovati at Corso Venezia 52, and the three semi-private tables sit apart from the eight in the main room.⁴²
