The Aman Suite at Aman New York

Why it is on the list

Aman New York occupies the upper floors of the Crown Building, a 1921 Warren and Wetmore tower on the southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, a New York City landmark since 2024; the hotel opened in 2022 with 83 suites designed by Jean-Michel Gathy.¹ The Aman Suites are the largest one-bedroom suites in the building, from 185 m² (2,000 sq ft) on floors 11 and 12, with corner windows over Fifth Avenue and 57th Street.² There is a glass-enclosed working fireplace, a study with a library chosen by Phaidon, an open living room, a dining table for six, a wet bar with counter seats, a kitchenette and a walk-in dressing room.² Butler service, breakfast in the suite and the three-floor spa with its indoor pool come with it.²

It is the wrong suite for a family that needs three bedrooms: the Corner Suite takes one to three bedrooms in 157 to 259 m².² For a stay built around the spa, the Premier Sanctuary Suites, 75 m² on the top two guestroom floors, are the closest to it.²

Call the reservations desk on +1 646 459 5302 or write to reservations.ny@aman.com and ask for the Aman Suite by name.² For two bedrooms, ask for it with the connecting Junior Suite on Fifth Avenue: the two connect through the entrance foyer and together make 257 m² (2,770 sq ft).² The suite page also books online, with separate reservations for the one-bedroom and two-bedroom versions and floor plans of each.² Check-in times are flexible when the suite is free.²

Discretion

The hotel and the residences in the building have separate entrances.¹ House cars take guests anywhere within 20 blocks, and breakfast can be served in the suite.² The suite's entrance foyer connects to the Junior Suite on Fifth Avenue; book both to keep the connecting door within one party.²
