The Signature terminal at Paris–Le Bourget

Why it is on the list

Le Bourget, 11 km north-northeast of Paris, has taken no airline traffic since 1980 and serves business aviation only; it is known as the Teterboro of Europe because business flights into Paris come here.¹ Signature's terminal clears customs and immigration on site, so passengers go from the aircraft through one building to the car, and central Paris is about twenty minutes away by road.² Inside are a private lounge, a concierge, conference rooms and a separate crew lounge and flight planning room; the general manager is Nathalie Andriot.²

It is the wrong choice for a scheduled flight: Le Bourget has no airline service, so a commercial arrival goes through Charles de Gaulle or Orly.¹ For a landing or departure after 22:00 that cannot wait on a call-out, the Jetex terminal runs around the clock; for a Falcon that needs work during the stop, or an aircraft up to a BBJ, the Dassault Falcon Service terminal belongs to the maker and has its hangars on the field.

How to get it

The operator books the handling through the reservation form on the terminal's page (date and time of arrival), asks for a callback there, or calls the desk on +33 1 49 92 75 81; the radio frequency is VHF 131.55.² Prices are set per account and shown, with reservations and service updates, in Signature Vision, the company's online portal, so the operator should open an account before the trip.³ The terminal is open 06:00 to 22:00 every day; a call-out outside those hours is arranged on request, so ask for it when the flight is planned.² Aircraft of more than 25 seats need prior permission to land, and Signature helps obtain it.² Hire cars come through Sixt, booked from the same page, and the concierge arranges the rest.²

The page contradicts itself on parking the aircraft: its introduction mentions an overnight hangar and ramp, while its FAQ says there is no overnight hangar or ramp parking, only a hangar for day use. An operator leaving the aircraft overnight should ask the desk.²

Discretion

Customs and immigration are cleared inside the terminal, which has its own private lounge for passengers and a separate lounge for crew; the site is under 24-hour surveillance.² The airport has no airline passengers.¹
