The Jetex terminal at Paris–Le Bourget

Why it is on the list

Le Bourget has taken no airline traffic since 1980 and serves business aviation only; it is known as the Teterboro of Europe because business flights into Paris come here.¹ Jetex opened its terminal there in 2009, and it was the first facility in France to meet both the IS-BAH and Safety 1st standards.² It runs 24 hours a day, aircraft park directly in front of the terminal with their own ramp access, and customs and immigration are handled at the airport.²

It is the wrong choice for a scheduled flight: Le Bourget has no airline service, so a commercial arrival goes through Charles de Gaulle or Orly.¹ The Signature terminal on the same airfield is the other choice.

How to get it

The operator or the passenger's office contacts the terminal on +33 1 7437 2522 or fbo-lbg@jetex.com; handling is mandatory at Le Bourget, so every private flight needs a handler.² Jetex arranges landing and entry permits, the flight plan, fuel, hangar space, catering and crew hotels, and a car for passengers and crew.² The terminal takes helicopters, and has a concierge, showers and private car parking.²

Discretion

The aircraft parks in front of the terminal, and the car can wait in the terminal's private parking.² Jetex provides security services on request.² The airport has no airline passengers.¹
