Why it is on the list

SECCON has done executive protection in Denmark and abroad for more than ten years. Its officers come from operational and military backgrounds, are trained for the work, hold the required security clearances and all speak fluent English.¹ It keeps its own intelligence cell for threat assessments, background checks and counter-surveillance, and is the only company in Denmark that teaches a course in technical counter-surveillance.¹ It also works as the local half of a visiting security detail: it scouts venues and sends reports and plans ahead, collects and checks the vehicles, semi-armoured ones included, sweeps rooms and cars, and deals with the police and authorities.¹

Discretion

Hotel rooms, cars and meeting rooms are swept for listening devices and GPS trackers before you use them, and the intelligence cell watches for anyone watching you.¹ The officers hold security clearances, and you see each one's profile before they start.¹
