Meet and Assist Arrival at Copenhagen Airport

Why it is on the list

The airport runs this service itself, for a passenger on any airline and in any class.¹ On arrival its team meets the party at the aircraft gate with a name sign, takes it through passport control on a non-Schengen flight, drives it from the gate by limousine or van on selected arrivals, and walks it through baggage claim to the car, taxi or train.¹ More of it is private on the way out: the party enters at the Royal Lounge at Lufthavns Boulevard 8, passes a security check there that takes one party at a time, waits in a private room and is driven from the lounge to the aircraft.¹

It does not shorten passport control: the team escorts the party through it, and since the EU's Entry/Exit System began, a non-Schengen arrival or departure can take up to a couple of hours.¹ For a private jet, take the tarmac arrival with ASE Handling at Kastrup instead.

How to get it

Write to the service by email or call +45 32 31 22 00 at least 24 hours ahead, and ask for Meet and Assist Arrival; on the way out, ask for the private departure through the Royal Lounge.¹ Each booking covers up to five people, from DKK 6,000 for an arrival or a transit and from DKK 8,000 for a departure.¹ Only hand luggage goes into the lounge, so checked bags are dropped in Terminal 2 or 3 first; a meal from one of the airport's restaurants can be ordered ahead to be waiting in the lounge.¹

Discretion

Departing, the party uses the Royal Lounge's own entrance at Lufthavns Boulevard 8 and a security check that takes one party at a time, and is driven from the lounge to the aircraft.¹ Arriving, the escort ends in the Terminal 3 arrival hall, where the party meets its onward car, taxi or train.¹
