Why it is on the list

Baccarat Hotel New York holds the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for 2026, and it faces the Museum of Modern Art across 53rd Street.1 The Baccarat Suite is its signature suite, on the top floor: 1,740 sq ft (161 m²) with a bedroom behind floor-to-ceiling windows, a walk-in closet, a living room, a dining area, a butler's pantry, a powder room, and a white marble bathroom with a separate shower and soaking tub, stocked with Maison Francis Kurkdjian.2 Every suite stay comes with an Attaché, one person who plans the stay before arrival and looks after it throughout.23

It sleeps two, in one king bed.2 For a family or a party of up to seven, take the Baccarat Two-Bedroom Suite instead: 2,190 sq ft on the same floor, with connecting rooms.4 No room in the hotel has a balcony or terrace.2

How to get it

The suite books from its own page on the hotel's site, or through reservations on +1 844 203 3008; the hotel itself answers on +1 212 790 8800 and at nyhosts@baccarathotels.com.25 Ask for the Baccarat Suite by name. A deposit of one night plus taxes is due when you book; cancel at least seven days before arrival, or the full stay is charged.6 Stays over a New York event period, such as the United Nations General Assembly, are prepaid and non-refundable.6 The nightly rate and how far ahead the suite can be held are not published: ask nyhosts@baccarathotels.com for both.

To pay for someone else's stay, ask the reservation manager for the pre-payment authorization form: patricehcarter@baccarathotels.com Monday to Friday, nyhosts@baccarathotels.com at the weekend.5 Check-in is after 4 pm and check-out by noon; the guest reserving must be 21 or older, a photo ID is asked for at check-in, and USD 200 a day is held on the card for incidentals.6 A dog of 20 lbs or less stays for a one-time USD 250; cats are not allowed.6 The concierge books a private car from the airport on +1 212 790 8849 or at nyconcierge@baccarathotels.com.5

Discretion

Only registered guests may be in the rooms; anyone else is asked to leave.6 The hotel allows no photoshoots or filming, and to protect guests' privacy it forbids photographing or filming other guests or staff without their consent.5 The suite is booked whole; for a party that needs more of the floor, the Two-Bedroom Suite beside it connects, and blocks of rooms go through NYSales@baccarathotels.com.45
