Why it is worth going

The Main Sector fills the nave with 152 galleries from 31 countries, among them 45 solo shows.1 This is the edition of the bicentenary of photography: Hans P. Kraus Jr. shows works by Louis Daguerre, William Henry Fox Talbot, Anna Atkins and Girault de Prangey made with the earliest processes.1 Among the solo shows, Duncan Miller brings Stanley Kubrick's photographs from the 1950s, Miranda shows Merry Alpern's Dirty Windows series and M77 shows William Klein.1 Within the fair, the Centre Pompidou hangs around a hundred works by nearly thirty artists from its photography collection, in three parts: Making the Image, To Infinity and Identities.2 Elles × Paris Photo, with the French Ministry of Culture, is curated this year by Aldeide Delgado.2
