The Hassler Penthouse

Why it is on the list

The Hassler sits at the top of the Spanish Steps, on Piazza Trinità dei Monti, and the Wirth family has run it since 1947; Roberto Bucher and Veruschka Bucher Wirth lead it now.¹² Its penthouse is on the eighth floor: 330 sqm with two travertine terraces over the Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti, two king bedrooms and a single, a living room with a grand piano and a bar, a dining area and a full kitchen.³ A lift opens straight into the suite and a butler comes with it.³

It sleeps five at most.³ For two or three, the Villa Medici Penthouse a floor below is 100 sqm with a 150 sqm terrace of its own.⁴

Write to booking@hotelhassler.it or call +39 06 699340 and ask for the Hassler Penthouse; the suite page also takes enquiries.³ A transfer to and from the airport is included.³ The concierge, on Concierge@hotelhassler.it or +39 06 699 34 402, can add an assistant who meets you inside the airport's restricted area and takes the luggage.⁵ Fiumicino is 30 to 45 minutes by car.¹

Discretion

Check-in and check-out happen in the suite, and the lift opens directly into it.³ A security room adjoins the suite and video surveillance can be arranged.³
