Why it is on the list

Kadeau Copenhagen holds three Michelin stars: it gained two in 2018 and the third in 2026.¹² It also holds a Michelin Green Star, awarded in 2023.¹ The restaurant opened in Christianshavn in 2011, four years after the first Kadeau on Bornholm; Nicolai Nørregaard leads the kitchen with head chef Kyumin Hahn, a partner since 2022.¹² Herbs, fruit, vegetables and honey come from the restaurant's own garden and greenhouses on Bornholm, and the Bornholm ceramicist Torben Lov makes all the tableware, with a new line each season.¹ The year has two menus: the growing season, May to October, and the preservation season, October to May, when spring and summer come back through the kitchen's preserving.³

The meal is one set menu of around 15 servings, so it is the wrong choice for a short meal.⁴ Jordnær in Gentofte and Geranium are the city's other three-star tables.²

Tables are booked online through the Book a table link on the restaurant's site, which opens its Tock page.³ For anything else, write to kbh@kadeau.dk or call +45 33 25 22 23.⁵ Dinner is Tuesday to Friday from 18:00 and Saturday from 18:30, with lunch on Saturday from 12:00.⁵ The menu is DKK 4,150 a guest; wine pairings are DKK 2,500, DKK 5,800 or DKK 18,000, and the non-alcoholic pairing DKK 1,500.⁴ Prices can change without notice, and corporate cards, cards issued outside the EU, American Express and Diners Club can carry a transaction fee.⁴
