The Inspiration Kitchen at Geranium

Why it is on the list

The Inspiration Kitchen is a separate room at Geranium with its own open kitchen and wine cellar; it seats up to 16 and serves the same menu as the main dining room.¹ Geranium's head chef, Rasmus Kofoed, won the Bocuse d'Or in 2011, and in 2016 it became the first Danish restaurant with three Michelin stars.² It holds three stars in the 2026 Danish selection.³

It is the wrong room for more than 16, or for a short dinner: the menu runs three hours at least.¹ For a room in the city centre, the private dining room at AOC, in the 17th-century vaulted cellars of Moltkes Palæ, takes 10 to 16.⁴

How to get it

Write to the booking team at info@geranium.dk or call +45 6996 0020, Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 to 15:00; the office is closed on bank holidays.¹ Ask for the Inspiration Kitchen; the room, like any party of seven or more, is booked through that team rather than online.¹ Tables in the main room open three months ahead.¹

The seasonal menu is DKK 4,400 a guest, with wine pairings from DKK 2,300 and a non-alcoholic pairing at DKK 2,300.¹ Corporate cards, and private cards issued outside the EU, carry a fee.¹ Dinner is served Wednesday to Saturday, lunch Thursday to Saturday.¹

Discretion

The party sits in its own room, apart from the main dining room.¹ Geranium is on the 8th floor; the lift runs only from ten minutes before opening and through service, and there is Euro-Park pay parking close by.¹
