Why it is on the list

Kei holds three Michelin stars in the 2026 guide.1 Kei Kobayashi opened here in 2011, after seven years at Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée; the stars came in 2012, 2017 and 2020.2 From 2019 ATTA, Tsuyoshi Tane's studio, rebuilt the rooms on the ground floor of a Second Empire building: the Grande Salle is walled in clear glass tubes and mirrors under a central chandelier, with a Galerie des Glaces, a Petite Salle and a private salon finished in silvered stucco.3

It is the wrong choice with children under 12, for whom there is no menu, and with pets, which are not admitted.4 For another three-star kitchen in Paris, Arpège and Alléno Paris au Pavillon Ledoyen hold the same rating.

Book on the restaurant's reservation page, call +33 1 42 33 14 74 or write to reservationkei@gmail.com.54 The book opens two months ahead, on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30.4 A card is taken with the booking; cancelling or changing the number of guests less than 48 hours ahead costs EUR 300 a missing guest at lunch and EUR 400 at dinner, charged to that card.4 Name any dietary restriction when booking: the kitchen adapts to some when told in advance.6

The contact page gives two lines of hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, dinner 19:45 to 20:45; Tuesday to Saturday, lunch 12:30 to 13:15 and dinner 19:45 to 20:45. Ask whether lunch is served on Tuesday and Wednesday before you book it.4 Five menus: Découverte EUR 195 (Friday and Saturday lunch only), Dégustation EUR 290 (not at Friday or Saturday dinner), Prestige EUR 395, Horizon EUR 460 and Grand Horizon EUR 580; the restaurant says prices may change.6 For the private salon, ask for it by name when you write.3

Discretion

The private salon sits beside the Grande Salle, a smaller room apart from the other tables.3 Its size and the terms to take it, or the whole restaurant, are not published: write to reservationkei@gmail.com for them.4
