The Barra at Moebius Sperimentale

Why it is on the list

Moebius Sperimentale is built inside the kitchen on the upper floor of Moebius. It has twelve covers, and six of them are at the Barra, the counter that faces the stoves.¹ The restaurant has held a Michelin star in the 2025 and 2026 Italian selections.² Enrico Croatti runs the kitchen. He has earned a star at three restaurants: Dolomieu in Madonna di Campiglio in 2013, Orobianco in Calpe in 2018, and Moebius Sperimentale in 2024. He trained at Paul Bocuse's Auberge du Pont de Collonges and at Akelarre in San Sebastián.³ There are two menus: Freedom, a free-form menu Croatti dedicates to his son, and Land or Sea.⁴

It is the wrong choice for a closed room or a private conversation: the counter and the kitchen are one space. For a room of your own, take the private dining room at Andrea Aprea. For a two-star kitchen seen from the stoves, take the chef's table at Verso Capitaneo.

Book online, write to info@moebiusmilano.it, or call +39 02 36643 680, and ask for places at the Barra.¹⁵ Sperimentale serves dinner only, Thursday to Saturday, 19:00 to 22:30.¹ Freedom is EUR 190 a guest, with a pairing at EUR 160, or EUR 90 without alcohol; Land or Sea is EUR 150, with a pairing at EUR 100, or EUR 60 without alcohol. Discretion

Sperimentale is on the upper floor of the building; the Tapa Bistrot in the same building serves until 01:00, or 02:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.¹ With twelve covers, the room is small, and the six at the Barra sit side by side in front of the kitchen. Groups go through the events office.¹
